 WE The People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Restore Our Constitution is a conservative group of citizens that love our country!  We are concerned about America, because we feel our politicians are not following our constitution as intended by our Founding Fathers.  Rather than insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare it seems our leaders are more concerned with money and political gain.

    Restore Our Constitution (ROC) believes the United States the greatest nation on earth! We believe our nation will remain great by following the Constitution, preserving our freedoms, sovereignty and our liberty.

   Our mission here at ROC is to form a group of like minded people that will band together as  to keep informed on what our politicians are conducting behind closed doors. We believe it's our duty to hold them accountable and remind them we have a constitution they must respect!

    We must stay vigilant by making our voices heard via e-mails, letters and phone calls to our Senators and Representatives. When they don't hear us and they infringe upon our rights as a free people we will peacefully protest.

     Our site will do it's best to keep up with information, but we can only do so much. It is each persons responsibility to educate themselves and make extra efforts to stay informed. You can do your part by providing information and links from our site and others.The more you pass us along to friends and family the better.

    

      Our Beliefs:
   1.    Limited Government – Restraint of government is necessary to protect the liberties of the people, the very foundation of our Constitution as designed by the founding fathers.
    2.    Fiscal Responsibility – Government at the Federal and state levels must stay on a very limited  budget. It is wrong to leave our debit for future generations. Excessive spending is unconscionable.
    3.    Personal Responsibility –  Each citizen must take responsibility for the consequences of their own actions while respecting the rights and liberty of others.  Liberty must be accompanied by responsibility.
    4.    The Rule of Law – Consistent, independent and uniform application of the law is critical to a free and prosperous society, based on the law, not on personal feelings.
    5.    National Sovereignty – We must keep a strong national defense, have strict security for our borders, and MUST be in control over our own land and by our laws.

Responsibility:

As an American citizen it is our responsibility to monitor our politicians. Our countries past in many instances shows us we can not trust our leaders to do what is right for Americans, for our country and our world, so we must hold them accountable.  Career politicians have the idea they are superior to the average middle class tax payer and do what is right for their career keep them in power over us and make them wealthy.

 To be responsible we must be informed, be aware of the issues, and let our senate and house know we are watching them closely! We do that with phone calls and e-mail telling them what we want and do not want in the way of legislation.

WE MUST VOTE!

 So let's get active, put down that remote and do your duty to keep America free and honest!

 

Rally:

We can let our feelings be known by attending rallies in our area. ROC encourages peaceful, respectful rallies and we encourage signs. However WE NEVER EVER support rallies in front of our congressmen private residence, never! 

 

Respect:

WE DO NOT support any sign that is mean spirited, sexist, or racist. Please do not make signs in regards to the citizenship,  birth certificate or his race. 

When we rally we ask for you to show respect to our leaders, something they have yet to show to the United States Of America, Our CONSTITUTION and the good people of our nation.

 Passionate discussions is fine, but no shouting, and please no profanity.

We do not tolerate:
    1.    Personal Attacks – We will debating positions and policies, WITHOUT demonizing people or groups.
    2.    Unfounded Rumors – We depend upon reputable news sources, we do not promote rumors, speculation or opinions as facts.

Believes these changes are required for
Health Care Legislation

1. Enact strict and fair tort reform.
2. Allow insurance companies to compete across state lines.
3. Allow individuals to establish tax free medical savings accounts.
4. Allow individuals to buy a minimum catastrophic health insurance policy if
desired.
5. Modify the tax code to provide for tax credits for insurance payments for those
families less than poverty level who want coverage.
6. Ensure that the insurances companies do not cancel policies of existing policy
holders who develop a medical condition.
7. Ensure insurance coverage could be transferable from one employer to another.
8. Absolutely no coverage for illegal aliens other than stabilizing emergency
care.
9. Require the AMA to collect and publish patient doctor complaints.
10. No interference in the private health care by federal government.

GLENN BECK'S 912 PROJECT

 We believe in Glenn Beck's 912 Project, which is designed to bring us all back to the place we were on September 12, 2001. The day after America was attacked we were not obsessed with Red States, Blue States or political parties. We were united as Americans, standing together to protect the greatest nation ever created.
That same feeling – that commitment to country is what we are hoping to foster with this idea. We want to get everyone thinking like it is September 12th, 2001 again.

  • Do you read the headlines everyday and feel an empty pit in your stomach…as if you’re completely alone?

If you’ve answered YES, then you’ve fallen for the Wizard of Oz lie. While the voices you hear in the distance may sound intimidating, as if they surround us from all sides—the reality is very different. Once you pull back the curtain,  you realize that there are only a few people pressing the buttons, and their voices are weak. The truth is that they don’t surround us at all.
We surround them.

At the origin of America, our Founding Fathers built this country on 28 powerful principles. These principles were culled from all over the world and from centuries of great thinkers. We have distilled the original 28 down to the 9 basic principles.
So, how do we show America what’s really behind the curtain? Read the nine simple principles. If you believe in at least seven of them, then we have something in common.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

ROC believes in the 912 principals and we embrace the 912 cause!

We promote their functions, their education information and totally support and embrace them as a vital part of saving our nation.

Where ROC differs is we do rally in a peaceful manner. We are conservatives that welcome everyone no matter their party affiliation.
