Things You Can Do

1) Attend a health care rally or other Illinois event. Check out YOUTUBE video

2) Tell friends and family what you've learn from rallies, meetings and reliable news sources that they may not know about.

3) Contact Blue Dog Democrats to tell them to vote "NO" on health care and other critical legislation list on our site or mailed to you in e-mail newsletters.

4) Write letters, e-mails, faxes make phone calls to your senators and reps.*

5) Meet candidates running for office. FIND MEET THE CANDIDATES NIGHT EVENTS AND ATTEND. Check our rallies/events page

6) Read current legislation.

7) Learn Facts and talking points on health care as well as other important legislation so you can be informed and inform others.

8) Join NumbersUSA to keep up on immigration issues. Learn to use the ACTION BUFFET.

9) Join OpenCongress and or gov.track to track legislation and see the voting records of your senators and reps.

10) Pass out information about ROC and encourage friends and family to get active! (step 4)* Send our site to people in your address book in the area that can attend meetings.

11) Become an ROC Watchdog. Report stories, video, information to watchdog@roc-usa.net by sending us a link so we can check them out and perhaps post!

12) Put Back Amendment.
We need to get out and get signatures to get this on the ballot. This will be a topic of discussion at our December 3rd. Come out and find out about this amendment.
When printing the downloadable file MAKE SURE YOU READ IT CAREFULLY, A STAPLE, PRINTING FORMS WRONG CAN HAVE THOSE SIGNATURES DISQUALIFIED.

13) 912 Refounders Project:
Erin Tallon President of the 912 Group in Springfield Illinois is in need of donations to purchase books and postages to mail those books and flyer designed by our group. The Refounders flyer can be seen on the Central Illinois 912 project website.

The Central Illinois 9/12 Project Group will begin directly promoting the Refounders effort by presenting a "Refounders Declaration" and a copy of the book Lives of the Signers (a book published in 1848 that provides a biographical sketch of each of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence) to all of Illinois’ 21 members of Congress (both in the Senate and in the House of Representatives).

14) Patriots Groups:

We need people to have weekly or bi-weekly meetings with friends, family to talk about current issues, study books related to our constitution, view movies about our founding fathers. Some of us need to step up and take a more hands on approach. See us at our monthly meetings or send us an e-mail!
15) ACTIONS ON HEALTH CARE:
Join us in doing the following all this week:

1) Call your Congressmen & Senators. Call their district offices and ask to meet with them. Call their Washington offices. Fax them. Email them.

2) Email blast - Forward emails on to all your contacts and encourage them to join you this week to put the pressure on Washington.

Easy steps to find your Representative

1.Go to the US Postal Service website. Fill out form to find your 9 digit zip code. If you already know your 9 digit zip code go to next step.

2. Go to House of Representatives Website. Find the area at the top of the site that asks for your 9 digit zip code, fill it the blank. That will direct you to the necessary information on your Representative. Create a folder Book mark the link so you can refer back to it often.

3. Check out our Who's running for What Office ABOVE. You find your area in Macon County by the County GIS button on the site. That will show you by area who represents you.

We delivered 22,520 on Wednesday morning. And 38,845 on Tuesday morning.
That makes 71,868 so far this week. The offices are politely accepting them each day.
Each petition has been delivered one at a time electronically to the White House as it has been signed.
