You really want to get active and make a difference?

Go to our local voter registration office, room 119, Macon County office building corner of Wood and Main.

It is possible to run for committeeman in a district that you DO NOT LIVE IN, but only if it does not have a committeeman listed in that district.

Summary of what you need:

1. Walking list for the republican and democrat parties

2. Committee men list republican and democrat parties

3. Petition to become a Committeeman

4. Financial disclosure form

5. Pick up a sheet containing the rules and deadlines for filing for committeeman

6. Pick up loyalty oath.

NOTE: Fill out the petition very carefully, if you don't understand something, please call us before going ahead. E-MAIL Jerry

Do NOT sign the bottom where it says"person who gathered signitures until you are asked to in front of and by the notary. This can void your petition.
